I'm Truality, formerly known as a spriter called NiKaNoRoU. Here are some things that you might not want to know about me:
-I love fried chicken
-I love ROM Hacking
-My favorite part of this project is spriting
-My most boring part of this project is patching
-I only hack Fire Red, because I don't like RSE
-For the rest, I have this
Pokémon Gust is my fifth attempt of a hack. However, this isn't (hopefully) going to end like the previous hacks for two reasons: A. It is an average hack B. It has a demo.
Here's a brief synopsis of my hacks to date:
Bug Catcher's Life - Endless hiatus. Planning to make it someday for the Sideshow Showcase.
Revolution: Expansion - Gone with my old PC
Orihalcon - Same as above only I didn't tell anyone about it so no biggie for you.
Beryl - File got corrupted, both to my and Banjora's dissatisfaction.
Stellar Crimson - A major bug crashed the rom every time the main Hero went out of their house and couldn't find a solution to it. Darn.
At least I added a cool FAQ, like I did back in my first hacking threads.
Features:

Storyline:
You're a resident of Indigo Town, at the Nebuil Region. You recently turned 14 and it's about time you began your own Pokémon quest. Ain't you happy?
As if. Things do not turn out the way you expect. Your father, who is working at an excavation, hasn't returned from his last errand. You're out to look for him.
Still, you decide to catch two Magikarp with one hook; you go to the local Pokémon Lab to get a starter Pokémon. Why not be both training and trudging?
As if. Prof. Alastor, who is in charge for homemade-brownie-distribution (giving out starter Pokémon), is also missing. You're out too look for him (pun intended).
That's it for the storyline, read the FAQ if you want spice on the rice, or play an available release if you want something more than just spiced rice.

Storyline
In the region of Kohto, north of Kanto, you begin your journey after falling from the skies into the Opalian metropolis. Scouting out refuge with no Pokémon to protect you, you find an old man who gifts you a special abandoned Surskit. Many amazing characters and features appear, both new and old: the Trick Master becomes a millionare off of his Mechadolls, which are now used for virtually anything and everything automated. Teams Magma and Aqua have regrouped and formed an alliance aimed at capturing Rayquaza, the legendary Pokémon of the sky. Creator and programmer Hinkage of Pokémon 2Awesome and Pokémon Hyetology makes an in-game appearance as a major story plot character. All of this is packed into a neat little file called Pokémon Dragonstone Version

Hey, there! Welcome to the thread of Pokémon Heat of Fate! I'm Rizon, the creator of Pokémon Heat of Fate! (Don't think I stole this hack cos I am Tackle.) Well, this hack was restarted for million times. But this will be the final restart! Also, this is a solo-hack, so no rushing!

The hack's name is Pokémon Heat of Fate, this hack's based on Pokémon Emerald. The game will be in English.
Status: Working on the decapitalization.
Story
"Everybody has their stories."
In Fateric Town, lives a fourteen boy who dreamed to be the strongest Pokémon Trainer in the world.
His name's Armin.
Armin has the best friend, his name's Eren.
Eren also wants to be the strongest Trainer, just like Armin.
Today was a good day, Prof. Birch is giving away the Pokémon!
This is the chance to chase the dream!

I grew up with Pokemon Gold as a kid, it was the first Pokemon game I had owned and I still play the story through from the beginning every year or so.
But I wanted to play a new Pokemon game in the Game Boy Colour generation of games, I could never really get into the newer games.
So I played Pokemon Brown and Prism and it inspired me to create a Pokemon Gold hack of my own!
Basically Pokemon Bronze is made in a similar way to Brown, I don't have a lot of rom hacking experience (almost none before I had even started) I had messed about making crappy hacks for myself but now I am doing my best to basically morph everything from Gold's story and areas so it feels like a new game in Generation II.
The Starters I've chosen are a mix of Red/Yellow and Gold. I went with Charmander, Totodile and Pichu as my personal "best of".
The Story Is basically your generic Pokemon affair, It is set right after the events in Gold and you leave home and get a Pokemon from a professor and defeat gym leaders and the elite four with a group of antagonists to battle along the way, and a rival.
That's the way I wanted to make it, a regular Pokemon game.
The Region for lack of a better name that I can think of is called Kohto, which sits south west of Kanto (which is connected via underground path) It has 8 towns and some new things/features are more varied environments such as patchy grass that Pokemon are less likely to appear in, and trees/paths have fade offs into grass and stuff.
I will also make a version of the hack with a girl main character if people would like that.
I am basically the only person working on it, although every now and then I have a friend, Bianca, that will do designs for me and suggest text for people to say, but the majority of it has just been me on my own.
Currently I've been working on it all year and the project is about 2/3 done.
Most of what's left is replacing text and changing trainer's Pokemon and levels but for the most part the entire main quest is competed and in place.

You've also gained the ability to connect and bond with Legendary Pokemon. As some questions became clear with answers, more begin to grow in your mind. Grind Bot (Replacing Nurse Joy/Doctor Roy from DR1). Grind Bot will be in every Pokemon center and project a hologram of gym leaders from various regions in the Pokemon universe. So for example, the Grind Bot in the 6th Pokemon center you come across may allow you to battle Volkner, while the 3rd or 4th center Grind Bot may project a hologram of Morty for you to battle. This is helpful for extra exp points.
ALL of the original GRASS/WATER/FIRE Starters from Gen 1-5 will be available in specific areas in the hack with a 1% or 2% chance of them appearing.
Choose your Dragon Starter from Dark Rising 1 in it’s final evolution as your first Pokemon or choose from the other two if you want to switch up this time around. (In other words, DRAGONITE/SALAMENCE/GARCHOMP are the Starter
CHARACTERS
Oren/Orena: The Hero/Heroine of the hack. This young but very skilled Pokemon trainer is on a mission to save his/her father, release Arceus, and defeat Darugis while becoming the best Pokemon trainer in the world. He/She has the ability to bond with Pokemon, allowing him/her to understand the words spoken by legendary Pokemon. Despite only being a trainer for such a short time, he/she has earned the reputation of being a top prospect after defeating the OMNI-League Champion, Adrian.
Kaz(Rival): Kaz is the best friend of Oren/Orena and also has an ability to connect with Pokemon. While that exact ability is unknown, he too has the power to release Arceus from it’s chamber and stop Darugis. Like Oren/Orena, Kaz is a very skilled trainer and tends to use plenty of offense in battle after boosting his Pokemon’s strength.
Sydney: A powerful trainer who lost her parents due to Darugis’s reawakening. Although she is short-tempered, she has a very compassionate heart and manage to soothe the soul of Kyurem, before capturing it.
Dray: A cocky yet skilled trainer, he has won numerous league tournaments in different regions and often has a joke for every situation. Despite being a comedian, he takes Pokemon very serious and is one of the top trainers in the world. He hopes to someday defeat Ash Ketchum and win the title. He is the boyfriend of Pokemon trainer, Florina.
Florina: A master of technology, she has won her fair share of league tournaments and has certified herself as one of the best trainers in the world. She is the girlfriend of Pokemon trainer, Dray.
Prof.Mercury: Said to be the most aggressive Pokemon Professor in the world, Prof.Mercury tends to keep to herself and explodes on anyone who asks her too many questions. Despite her straight forward attitude and annoyance to everything, she cares deeply for Pokemon and never wants to see any in danger.
Benga: Benga lost his parents and grandmother when he was only a newborn baby due to an event long ago where Pokemon felt in danger by humans. The Pokemon known as Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion attacked his parents and grandmother because they felt threatened, landing fatal blows to each of them. Darugis: The ultimate dark entity, Darugis was created from all of the negative energy in the world. It’s power rivals the god of all Pokemon, Arceus.
Arceus: The God of all Pokemon, Arceus has been sealed away by Darugis in a dark chamber. Only the Chosen Ones can free it and use it’s power to defeat Darugis.

Q. Why are the Pokemon X & Y in the hack? All of their information is still a mystery.
A. By the time this hack’s released, I’ll have all of their information. Pokemon X & Y will probably be released way before this hack’s complete.
Q. This hack won’t be as buggy as Dark Rising 1, will it?
A. No, not at all. The majority of DR1 was made by Me & another user named Tajaros. It was just us two. At the time, although we had knowledge in different areas of Rom hacking, we were both still beginners compared to how good we are now. DR2 is being made by a whole team full of experts in their respective areas of creation.
Q. Any other 6th gen Pokemon you’ll be adding?
A. Other than Fennekin, Xerneas, and Yveltal, I’ll only add 6th gen Pokemon IF they’re evolve or pre-evolve forms of Pokemon that are already in the hack. So for example, once Sylveon’s information is released to the public, I’ll add it because Eevee’s in the hack. But any new species of Pokemon, no, I won’t be adding them. Only new evolved or pre-evolved Pokemon.
Q. When will this hack be released?
A. No Time Soon. The full release probably won’t even be this year. I’ll try to get a beta out by summer, but that’s all I can promise for now. You’ll at least have a beta this year, that’s a 100% guarantee

Grind Bot (Replacing Nurse Joy/Doctor Roy from DR1). Grind Bot will be in every Pokemon center and project a hologram of gym leaders from various regions in the Pokemon universe. So for example, the Grind Bot in the 6th Pokemon center you come across may allow you to battle Volkner, while the 3rd or 4th center Grind Bot may project a hologram of Morty for you to battle. This is helpful for extra exp points.
ALL of the original GRASS/WATER/FIRE Starters from Gen 1-5 will be available in specific areas in the hack with a 1% or 2% chance of them appearing.
Choose your Dragon Starter from Dark Rising 1 in it’s final evolution as your first Pokemon or choose from the other two if you want to switch up this time around. (In other words, DRAGONITE/SALAMENCE/GARCHOMP are the Starter
CHARACTERS
Oren/Orena: The Hero/Heroine of the hack. This young but very skilled Pokemon trainer is on a mission to save his/her father, release Arceus, and defeat Darugis while becoming the best Pokemon trainer in the world. He/She has the ability to bond with Pokemon, allowing him/her to understand the words spoken by legendary Pokemon. Despite only being a trainer for such a short time, he/she has earned the reputation of being a top prospect after defeating the OMNI-League Champion, Adrian. Kaz(Rival): Kaz is the best friend of Oren/Orena and also has an ability to connect with Pokemon. While that exact ability is unknown, he too has the power to release Arceus from it’s chamber and stop Darugis. Like Oren/Orena, Kaz is a very skilled trainer and tends to use plenty of offense in battle after boosting his Pokemon’s strength. Sydney: A powerful trainer who lost her parents due to Darugis’s reawakening. Although she is short-tempered, she has a very compassionate heart and manage to soothe the soul of Kyurem, before capturing it. Dray: A cocky yet skilled trainer, he has won numerous league tournaments in different regions and often has a joke for every situation. Despite being a comedian, he takes Pokemon very serious and is one of the top trainers in the world. He hopes to someday defeat Ash Ketchum and win the title. He is the boyfriend of Pokemon trainer, Florina. Florina: A master of technology, she has won her fair share of league tournaments and has certified herself as one of the best trainers in the world. She is the girlfriend of Pokemon trainer, Dray. Prof.Mercury: Said to be the most aggressive Pokemon Professor in the world, Prof.Mercury tends to keep to herself and explodes on anyone who asks her too many questions. Despite her straight forward attitude and annoyance to everything, she cares deeply for Pokemon and never wants to see any in danger. Benga: Benga lost his parents and grandmother when he was only a newborn baby due to an event long ago where Pokemon felt in danger by humans. The Pokemon known as Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion attacked his parents and grandmother because they felt threatened, landing fatal blows to each of them.
