Pokemon Dark Cry: The Legend of Giratina!

Pokémon Dark Cry: The Legend of Giratina - Alpha 2.1.5 __________________________________________________________ Before you start your epic adventure, I recommend to start over!

Hi, there! After 2 years and 3 months of hacking, testing and a bit of downtime, it's now my honor to announce that alpha 2.1.5 now official has been released! In this alpha version, You're ready to discover a new region called: Trion! So far, sadly enough, only the first peaceful village: Longhorn Village, the rough route 601, The shiny caves of Trion: Mt. Hydronic, the lovely city: Atlernion City, the magnificent Purity Forest, the rocky route 602, The enchanting cave: Xanateos Cave and the informal great Itacis City are available. Furthermore, you'll be able to challenge the gym-leaders Gesina and Taivas, play the first 20 unique side quests and reveal the secret of the almighty disorder POKéMON! This alpha version ends after beating the second gym, and you, unfortunately, will not be able to continue your journey to route 603!

New Key Features __________________________________________________________ - POKéPAPER, your daily news source! - Automatic trainer level cap increase! - Starter related "legendary" mission! - Some D/P/P sprited 1st gen, 2e gen and 3e gen inserted! - Daily Missions are available! - Become good or evil! - Headbutt capabilities! - Old bugs that caused alot of problems (*kuch* count script *kuch*) has been solved! - Collect trion tokens, and become the collector master! - Brand new trainer sprites! - Few more hidden maps! - New graphical additions!

Bugs and Glitches __________________________________________________________

Minor impact: Still need to be resolved, but doesn't do any harm! BOLD: Still need to be resolved! Green: I never could resolve!

: Bag layout seems like to change color after selecting a item

: POKéDEX mini-map (location POKéMON capture!) has still the old "KANTO" line.

: Capture a POKéMON in wild grass works perfect, but when you capture it and it appears in the "flash" POKéDEX the text (information) border remains black! This won't stay forever but it's a bug that we cannot fix for now, it has something to do with the battle background!

: When you use your town map it might occur that your location is different!

: When prof. Rowan call up the Shinx in the intro. The POKéBALL ''floats'' left of him.

: Costum trainer battle background has not been added yet!

: Due the weird cry table it might occur that there are a few cries that doesn't sound correct!

: Due a weird bug it reverse different POKéMON as correct during the WANTED event, besides that, you're still able to do these events!

: I'm aware that the OW in the Xanateos cave doesn't match the POKéMON that has been said! I forgot to insert it!

: Mom slides over the floor, instead of walking.

Fun knowledge from Dark Cry: TLoG __________________________________________________________

: Area's could have been changed by morning, day, afternoon, evening or night! (This makes exploring the Trion Region endless!)

: POKéMON Dark Cry: TLoG also contains alot of side quests and mini-games. These make this hack more entertained to play!

: Regular tiles like a window, radio's and Tree's might contain a behavior byte script! These make more things possible!

: Be sure you activate your RTC! Otherwise some events? might won't work! Wonder how to activate your RTC? Options-->emulator-->Real Time Clock.

Don't do the following! (© protected!) (If you do I'll hunt you down with a blunt knife and cut your eye out, the header code hasn't changed for nothing!) __________________________________________________________

: Don't use/rip the OW's that has been inserted in dark cry: TLoG!

: Don't use/rip the tileset/pallets that has been inserted in dark cry: TLoG!

: Don't use/rip scripts or even part of scripts that has been inserted in dark cry: TLoG!

: Don't decompile ASM routlines and use them for your own!

: Don't use the tilemaps/RAW's that has been inserted in dark cry: TLoG!

Please report any errors you come across, detailing what happened and possibly providing screenshots to help. Make sure you check this list to see if the error has already been reported, though.

Frequently Asked Questions __________________________________________________________

Question: The in-game time show 12:0 every time! Even when it's for example 15:40! Answer: Be sure you activate your RTC! Otherwise some/many events won't work!

Question: It seems like I'm stuck in the Torn World! I can't jump to another platform! Answer: I'm aware of this, the only thing you supposed to do is press the "A" button!

Pokemon Prestigious Platinum

Introduction
I'm sure you're familiar with my
previous work from the exceptionally
(and unexpected) popular hack,
Pokémon Expert Emerald! Since this
project went so well I decided to try
my hand at another hack, using a
game that I'm unfamiliar with in the
field of editing I decided to go with
Pokémon Platinum! I wanted to try
and re-create the elements that lie
within Expert Emerald and
implement them into a Platinum
hack and thus Prestigious Platinum
was born!
This will be like my previous hack(s)
where it will focus on increasing the
difficulty and allowing you to
capture all 493 Pokémon no strings
attached!
My previous attempt to hack
Platinum didn't go down all too well
as I did not dedicate no where near
as much time as I have to this one,
there are many perks to this hack
which I'm sure you will enjoy, I have
thoroughly enjoyed creating this
hack myself as strange as that may
sound. Albeit some major setbacks
including losing several weeks of
work, however I managed to get back
on track and finish it off!

Features
Difficulty - The difficulty of the
whole game dynamic has been
intensifyed, this means that every
Gym Leader, Elite Four Member,
Trainer etc has been edited! This
also includes rematches with
trainers and other important NPC's.
I can assure you that every
individual trainer has been edited
including their rematch teams!
Pokémon - All Pokémon are
available in game, whether that be
in the wild or via evolution, you will
be able to obtain all 493 Pokémon.
Documents - As you will notice with
the download, I have compiled
several documents which will provide
you with ALL the information needed
to know about this hack and how it
differs from the original game.
Evolutions - Many evolutions that
require trade, happiness, items etc
have been changed, not all but a
vast majority of them allowing you to
fill up your Pokédex! - You can find a
list in the "General Changes"
Document
Abilities - 70+ Pokémon now have
changed Primary/Secondary abilities,
these may be what I feel suited their
persona or some may be from their
hidden ability in the Dream World. -
You can find a list in the "General
Changes" Document
Stats - 70+ have also had their stats
increased, these are Pokémon that
play an important role in these
games, these will be the ones used
by important characters such as Gym
Leaders & Elite Four members. This
is also to increase the power of
those weaker who need a slight bulk
up. - You can find a list in the
"General Changes" Document
Legendaries - Unfortunately my
hacking skills of the fourth
generation aren't so strong yet but
you can still capture all 34
legendaries, you will find them
scattered around the later areas of
the Sinnoh region but with low
encounter rates. - More details at
the "Legendaries Location"
Document
Type Changes - There are only few
but some Pokémon have a changed
Primary/Secondary type. For example,
Lopunny is now Normal/Fighting
type - You can find a list in the
"General Changes" Document

Support
*I want to say a special thanks to
The Grubby Pup for helping me save
my hack from going absolutely bust,
providing detailed information and
being a huge help!

Bugs & Errors
*On the lower tier of Route 204
there is a glitch regarding the wild
Pokémon, this may be the case for
some other areas.
*Where it says "Old Rod" on the
Wild Pokémon Locations Document,
it should in fact read "Good Rod"

Download
Make sure you use the Base ROM
that this hack was created from:
(Pokemon Platinum US XenoPhobia) -
Google it!
Also, ensure you are using the
Tsukuyomi Patcher or NUPS to apply
the Patch to the ROM, Tsukiyomi
Patcher will be included in the
download.
*To clarify, this patch is the full
game, everything edited, final
release etc. So go ahead and click
the download below!

Pokemon Furious Flames

Introduction
I'll try and keep this as short as
possible!
Basically, after four failure hacks of
Fire Red I decided to go for it one
last time.. my previous attempt
turned out to be quite popular
among an audience of people
however due to scripting errors and
other unfixable problems I had no
choice but to scrap that project and
start fresh, hence this new hack!
It has given me the motivation to
re-create what I had previously but
also add new features to improve the
game overall, hopefully this can be
just as successful as the last one.
Also I would like to mention that
Atif is helping me re-create Hoenn
in Fire Red!

Features
Difficulty - The whole game dynamic
has had a shift in difficulty which is
the main aspect of this game, all
Leaders, Elite Four Members &
Trainers have been edited! Many
will have Pokemon from Kanto, Johto
& Hoenn.
New Rival May - As well as Gary you
will also encounter May from the
Hoenn Region several times as you
travel through the game.
Pokemon - All 386 Pokemon are
obtainable to an extent - This may
mean through the wild or simply
using Events in-game. The vast
majority of Pokemon are found in
Routes, Caves and Waters. - See the
"Pokemon Locations" Document for
all the locations.
Evolutions - All evolutions that
required a trade or some method
that was unavailable to acquire on
an Emulator has now been changed
- Check the "General Changes"
Document for more details.
Abilities - Atleast 30 Pokemon have
new Primary/Secondary abilities to
boost their power and stratergy. -
Check the "General Changes"
Document for more details.
Stats - Over 70 Pokemon have had
their stats increased, some minor
some major. This is to enhance the
difficulty when facing important
NPCs. - Check the "General Changes"
Document for more details.
Movepool & Attacks - Over 100
Pokemon have added moves to their
movepools suiting their typing. I
have also edited the Power and PP of
some moves - Check the "General
Changes" Document for more
details.
Events - All the Pokemon that are
usually obtained via Event but are
not in FRLG now are, you can obtain
all starters, Pokemon such as
Castform by talking to certain people
in-game - See the "Event Pokemon"
Document for more details.
Type Changes - Some Pokemon have
new/changed typings to what I
thought suited them - Check the
"General Changes" Document for
more details.
New Trainers - You will notice that
several new trainers have been
implemented around the region! - I
will be taking requests so if you
would like your own personal trainer
in-game, PM/VM me!
Documents - With the download you
will find 4 Documents alongside the
Patch, Event Pokemon, General
Changes, Kanto Leaders & Pokemon
Locations. The names are self
explanatory but they will give you all
the details that are needed to know
about the changes in this hack!

Bugs & Errors
Thankfully none... yet
Please report any if you come across
them, thanks!

Pokemon Fire Red: Warrior Edition

Summary
This is just a hack of Pokemon Fire
Red, I'm actually doing this because
I'm bored during my free time, so I
won't be putting major changes into
this. I only made changes to four
Pokemon, Ralts' family and Castform,
I cannot do in major scripts or script
changes, the only thing I can do
involving scripts are giving
pokemon/eggs/items and new
trainers. Also, Castform in now the
3rd Gen Audino. This is, in a way,
and "Challenge Mode".

New Features
Your new Starter is Ralts, who now
evolves into a extremely strong
Gardevior with insane moves,
including the three elemental hyper
beams at level 100. Also, Gary also
uses Ralts, so be careful.
The wild Pokemon have not been
edited, some may be moved around
and evened out to fit Castform at 2%
everywhere, and I mean
EVERYWHERE.
Trainer teams will also not be edited
much, some will be, but most will
not, only bosses will recieve major
changes, and some even may not. All
levels will be edited though.
You can now also receive all three
Kanto Starters before the first Gym
and Omanyte, Kabuto and Aerodactyl
after beating Misty.
I will not be adding any 4th/5th gen
Pokemon, or adding extra 2nd/3rd
gen Pokemon to pre-game areas,
only post-game.
On Island 7, you now get all
2nd/3rd gen starters, legendaries,
and other special pokemon given to
you. Special Pokemon include
Larvitar, Lileep, Smoochum, and
many others.
There are only three Ralts, you get
one, Gary gets one, but who gets the
last one, there is a special trainer
on Island 4 that has it.

Pokémon Fire Red: Generations (Hack Complete)

Introduction
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I think I've been down this path
many times now, meaning created
some sort of Fire Red hack which
ends up going corrupt or ending up
becoming glitched beyond repair! So
I'm hoping I can touch lucky this
time round. This will be similar to
my previous Fire Red entries with
extra features added on to make the
game much more enjoyable and
prolonged!
As always, this game focuses on
difficulty and capturing every
Pokemon available. I have applied
all what I can to make this hack
credible, I have spend endless hours
perfecting and tweaking the extra
features and details to make sure
that it runs smoothly so hopefully
you won't run into any glitches this
time! Scroll down to see the new
and improved features that this hack
has to offer, enjoy!

Game Features
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Difficulty - As always, the games
difficulty has increased dramaticly,
with an adjustable level curve.
Wild Pokemon - Again, you will be
able to capture all 386 Pokemon one
way or another, a list of locations
has been provided.
Rivals & Rockets - You will notice
that you have two extra companions
to battle along the way. This include
May from the Hoenn Region and
Jessie & James from Team Rocket!
You will battle both of these several
times throughout your journey.
Extra Items - All those useful,
unobtainable items that you
couldn't get are availble as gift
items. This includes Lucky Egg, Silver
Powder, Thick Club etc. A list of
locations has been provided for
these too.
Stat Increases - A handful of
Pokemon have had a suitible stat
increase, this mainly applies to those
with a lower Stat total. You can find
all these on the Document with the
download.
Extra Areas - There are a couple of
extra areas for you to nab some
different Pokemon! (Mainly
legendaries)
Events - There is also a handful of
events scattered around Kanto, this
includes Gift Pokemon Events, Egg
Events, Legendary events etc.
Evolution - Obviously, the evolutions
of the Pokemon with unaccessable
methods of evolution have now been
changed.
Gym Rematches - Since these were
left out of FRLG, I decided to kinda
create Gym Leader Rematches. These
take place in a small building in
Vermillion City which you can only
access once becoming Champion!
Familiar Faces - You will notice
several Gym Leaders have been
replaced with characters from
different Regions! See if you can
spot them all.
Type & Gender Changes - Some
Pokemon have had their Types and
Gender changed, this applies to
those who I feel needed them.
Aesthetic Changes - A few Routes/
Areas will have a slightly overhauled
look, including entrances to new
areas/caves.
Attack Changes - Many of the
Pokemon now have a more fitting
and suitable moveset, this applies to
atleast 200 Pokemon. I have also
boosted the Power, PP and Accuracy
of many Attacks such as Dig, Cut,
Aerial Ace etc.
Starters - Finally, I have rearranged
the Starters to a more diverse
mixture which is now Clamperl,
Tyrogue and Trapinch. These share
similar characteristics with each
other which is why I chose these
three. Why not the originals? This is
because rather than having the
generic set of Bulbasaur,
Charmander and Squirtle, I thought
it would be fun to change things up
a bit and give you the opportunity
to obtain a Pokemon that you can't
usually obtain that early on in the
game. Besides, you will be able to
get Bulbasaur, Charmander and
Squirtle via events before the third
Gym anyway.

Pokémon Saga - Pokémon DarkViolet

BETA 1 RELEASED!!!!!!

What is Pokémon Saga? It's a series of hacks that I'm making to create a perfect game for every region. There's going to be 4 hacks, and they will be named DarkViolet, Jade, HeartGold, and Platinum, and they'll take place in the Kanto, Hoenn, Johto (and later Kanto), and Sinnoh regions.

This is DarkViolet, and it takes place in the Kanto region. Basically, it follows the plotline of Pokémon Red/Blue/FireRed/LeafGreen, which is why I'm not going to bother explaining the plot because I'm sure you already know what it is. Believe it or not, I've had this whole "Pokemon Saga" concept for quite a while, but I've had to restart a few times due to glitches or me not being able to decide how I'm going to do this. Remember, "Pokemon ShadowAmethyst" and "Pokemon Saga - Adventure"? Yeah, this is basically the same thing. Back when this was called ShadowAmethyst, the graphical style was kinda weird looking... it was R/S/E overworlds mixed with HG/SS tiles. Bleh. But I've thought things over, and I've decided to use FR/LG tiles. When I start working on "Pokemon Saga - Emerald", I will also use FR/LG style graphics.

FR/LG's Kanto is pretty inconsistent with HG/SS's Kanto, so I'm re-creating HG/SS's Kanto as if it was 3 years earlier. Features*FR/LG style graphics, but with HG/SS architectural design
*All Gym Leaders have new teams (except Brock)
*All Elite Four members have new teams
*Kanto music in it's original key
*The Team Rocket plot is slightly expanded. You can expect to see what Archer and Arianna were doing 3 years before HG/SS.
*Sevii Islands, w00t!
*Kanto Dex expanded 200 Pokemon. Or at least, that's what I would like to do, but I'm still figuring out how to hack the R/S Pokedex while leaving the National one alone.
*200 Pokemon are obtainable before the Elite Four. Once you beat the Elite Four, 386 Pokemon are obtainable. The majority of the Pokemon that can't be found in the wild can be obtained from a special Gift Shop.
*De-capitalization, in the style of the 4th Gen games (that means Pokemon names are still in CAPS)
*Some of the R/B/FR/LG dialogue is kind of odd... so they might get changed around a little bit
*Optional battles with your pseudo-rival, Red/Green. They'll have the starter that is weak to yours, while Blue has the starter that has the advantage over yours. Say, if you're playing as Red and you picked Charmander, then Blue will have Squirtle, and Green will have Bulbasaur.
*Battle Frontier, located on one of the Sevii Islands... haven't decided which one yet XD!
*I don't care about nostalgia. Therefore, I will do my best to make this game actually seem like a modern Pokemon game.
*SCREW NOSTALGIA!!!!
*Some more stuff... whatever Before I didn't know how to do this, but now I've finally come up with a final solution: Use FR/LG style graphics. What I was doing before was a complete mess (check my previous thread), but now everything seems to be going alright.

In simple words: This is basically FR/LG with all the goodiness of Emerald, plus Kanto is re-mapped with HG/SS in mind.
Hack of: Pokémon Emerald

Alpha Screenshots:
Spoiler:

Beta 1 screenshots:
Spoiler:

You will not obtain a Lv69 Charmander from Prof. Oak.

As you can see in some of the screenshots, I'm trying to make it look as if that's what HG/SS's Kanto was 3 years before the events of HG/SS. For instance, Oak does not have a carpet in his lab, because he got a carpet installed during the 3 years between Gen III and Gen IV :D.

Programs I've used (List may be outdated. Not that I actually care):
* AdvanceMap
* Advance Palette Editor
* A-Trainer
* Door Manager
* Gold Finger Hex Editor
* Overworld Editor - Rebirth Edition
* unLZ.gba - HackMew's version
* VisualBoyAdvance
* eXtreme Script Editor
* Sappy 2005
* Free Space Finder
* Tile Molester Alternate
* Paint
* Pointer calculator
Glitches:
*One of the students in the Viridian Trainer School has glitchy text... will fix this for Beta 1.1
*Brock's intro text has some missing letters towards the end... will fix this for Beta 2

Oddities:
*When Daisy gives you the Running Shoes and Town Map, it plays the Battle Frontier jingle
*If you're playing as a girl, Red will force you into a battle on Route 4 even though it's supposed to be optional... don't know how I screwed that up, but it will be fixed for Beta 2
Videos:

The Alpha goes up to Route 1... and that's pretty much it. Here's the credits:
*Me, of course.
*Everyone who made those tools
*Giradialkia - Never stopped giving me feedback, and gave me useful patches so I don't have to insert new OWs. And he recently fixed a custom song.
*The author of Pokemon CrystalShards - I forgot his name, but since his hack used FR/LG tiles on an Emerald base, I looked at his hack as a reference when inserting new tiles.
*ZodiacDaGreat - Since he's also working on a Ruby hack with FR/LG tiles, I copied some of the tile animations in TileMolester .
*Dragonfree - For letting me use her Mewtwo sprite that I plan on implementing into the titlescreen in the future

Also, for those who don't like .ips files, here's an .aps file for Beta 1:

PLEASE DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT DOOR ANIMATIONS BECAUSE ALL OF THEM HAS ALREADY BEEN CHANGED FOR BETA 2.

UPCOMING: Pokemon Gust

Pokémon Gust

Farfetch'd approves.

I'm Truality, formerly known as a spriter called NiKaNoRoU. Here are some things that you might not want to know about me:

-I love fried chicken
-I love ROM Hacking
-My favorite part of this project is spriting
-My most boring part of this project is patching
-I only hack Fire Red, because I don't like RSE
-For the rest, I have this
Pokémon Gust is my fifth attempt of a hack. However, this isn't (hopefully) going to end like the previous hacks for two reasons: A. It is an average hack B. It has a demo.
Here's a brief synopsis of my hacks to date:
Bug Catcher's Life - Endless hiatus. Planning to make it someday for the Sideshow Showcase.
Revolution: Expansion - Gone with my old PC
Orihalcon - Same as above only I didn't tell anyone about it so no biggie for you.
Beryl - File got corrupted, both to my and Banjora's dissatisfaction.
Stellar Crimson - A major bug crashed the rom every time the main Hero went out of their house and couldn't find a solution to it. Darn.
At least I added a cool FAQ, like I did back in my first hacking threads.

Features:

+New plot, same old "Eight Gyms"
+New maps, same old tiles (for the most part)
+New scripts, same old main events
+New gameplay aspects, same old HMs
+New overworlds, same old Nurse Joy
+Three evil teams to counter, a region to save
+And 386 different ways to go for it
+The details are to be enjoyed, not said

Storyline:

You're a resident of Indigo Town, at the Nebuil Region. You recently turned 14 and it's about time you began your own Pokémon quest. Ain't you happy?

As if. Things do not turn out the way you expect. Your father, who is working at an excavation, hasn't returned from his last errand. You're out to look for him.

Still, you decide to catch two Magikarp with one hook; you go to the local Pokémon Lab to get a starter Pokémon. Why not be both training and trudging?

As if. Prof. Alastor, who is in charge for homemade-brownie-distribution (giving out starter Pokémon), is also missing. You're out too look for him (pun intended).

That's it for the storyline, read the FAQ if you want spice on the rice, or play an available release if you want something more than just spiced rice.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Where can I find a good ROM to patch your file to?
A: Don't ask, don't tell

Q: I patched your file correctly, but it doesn't work...?
A1: It is a mystery
A2: It is a conspiracy
A3: Nintendo hates you

Q1: The game froze...why?
Q2: There some glitches/oddities happening...the heck?
A: Screenshot(s) or they didn't happen

Q: Why is the hack named 'Gust'?
A: 'cause it will blow you away

Q: I got stuck at a certain point of the game and can't move on. I'm really sure I searched everywhere but I can't find a way to go further. Help?
A1: You're blind
A2: End of release

Q: So, you didn't say what the starting Pokémon is. Which is it?
A: It is named "play the game", No 9001 in the Pokédex

Q: Which Legendary Pokémon is starring in Gust?
A1: It is named "Dwayne Johnson", and it's a Rock-type
A2: None is
A3: There is one, but it's not really "starring". It's just going to appear prior to others

Q: What do you mean by "386 different ways to go for it"?
A: Read "und" with your head upside down

Q: Oh I see. But why all 386 of them? (I wouldn't sit down to complete the pokedex anyway)
A: The logic is simple; the more you own, the more you own

Q: Is your last feature even a feature?
A: Yes, it features the fact that there are releases at the bottom of the post

Q: When is the next release going to, well, be released?
A: Who knows

Q: Why is your thread presentation so messed up?
A: It's set in order of importance. The least important stuff being said on the top

Q: Just how much more annoying can your answers get?
A: Keep asking questions

Q: Do you want help with this project?
A: Not really, no, unless you want to be a zombie-tester, a good reviewer or lazy enough to make a walkthrough/video of this hack
